Good evening,
I am writing tonight to make an effort that the proposed development on Gallatin Green Blvd
in Bozeman be denied on their second attempt of plans. There is just not enough parking onthis street to have that many apartments and commercial buildings on one lot. We already have
the apartment complex to the north of this lot overflowing their vehicles to park in the street. Our car was involved in a hit and run in May on Gallatin Green on the same side this complex
will go. We have two small children that we have now had to limit their outdoor use due totraffic flow and speed.
If he must build a gigantic building, at least make one less building and have it all be parking.We all know that with the rental market and rent prices, a one bedroom could have three
people living there and three vehicles. It seems that the City of Bozeman never considers that.Rent is so high that people have to cram into units. This will be no different as it will be brand
new and I’m sure the developer will have rent sky high. Thank you for your time on this matter. I expected that their would be some apartment
complex across from us when we built our house seven years ago, but not commercial and tothis density.
