Hi again.
A couple things I wanted to add. The vets in Bozeman are not supportive of this. Theyunderstand that cats will get outside. I talked to 4 of them while trying to get my cat a
microchip.The animal shelter doesn't support this, they are full. And said that UNDER 50% of trapped
cats get reunited with their owners.I posted my cat was missing on our neighborhood discussion board with a picture of him and
my neighbor said nothing. She lives three houses down from me.But after the second post where everyone pretty much said this behavior is not ok, she walked
by my house and said thanks for the post....This is not how a community is supposed to be.
I understand that our PD is busy and understaffed, but we cannot allow people to do this forthem. It opens the door to some very disturbing opportunities.
