To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing in opposition to the proposed residential treatment facility at the corner of Westridge and Graf streets in
South Bozeman.
Frankly I am shocked that this location is even under consideration for a this type of facility. As a homeowner in the
Alder Creek subdivision with 3 small children who walk/ride bikes to school at Morning Star and use the crosswalk
directly in front of this house, my children along with many many others would pass this house at least twice a day. The
crosswalk located right next to this house is the only one with a crossing guard so you can imagine the foot traffic it sees.
While I understand the importance of our city having a treatment facility such as this, I think locating this facility within
yards of an elementary school is completely irresponsible.
I’m asking that the planning board deny a request for this facility to be opened in the proposed location.
