Date:Thursday, July 18, 2019 9:39:18 PM First, I thank you for having the courage to be city commissioners. Now I want to write to you about the egregious level of noise coming from the Gallatin County Fairgrounds tonight and probably the next two nights. I live South of Peach on North Grand and I have to listen to every single word and guitar riff coming from there tonight. Time? 9:04 PM. Does anyone in the city consider how annoying, disturbing and frustrating it is to be subjected to this from 1,000 feet away? Why is the band not directing their performance to the North where there are no people? Are there any boundaries for the decibel level? When will it end? In theory at 10:00 but that is not always the case. I am fairly sure that you all live on the South side of main street and don' t have to put up with it. Maybe you are over at the fairgrounds now taking in the show. The issue is that hundreds of people live right here and didn't ask for the intrusion and don't care for it either. Is this the new Bozeman? Are we all about in your face sound when it is normally a quiet time of day. And, by the way, I have been here longer than probably any of you and this was not the norm. Even 15 years ago. Where does it end? Please, consider putting down some rules and enforcing them. Hours, yes. Sound projection, yes. Even decibel level, yes. Thank you for reading this and maybe looking into it. Call me or write me. Larry Barnard 406 580 4089
