I have served on the Historic Preservation Advisory Board for two years. The seat I filled was historic district
resident. With Phil Gonzalez's help, the Board has built momentum and is again a vibrant, participatory
body of engaged community members. With recent approval of the NCOD consultant report
recommendations, launch of the historic property inventory and upcoming Historic Preservation Awards
event, there is much to celebrate and a lot of work to be done. I'd like to continue my tenure on the board
to effect even more progress on the important steps the City is taking to prioritize historic preservation in
Bozeman.

I am licensed architect in the state of Montana and have held a license for the last seven years. I moved to
Bozeman to attend the School of Architecture at MSU where I found a passion for older buildings and
adaptive reuse. After school I moved to New York City where I spent seven years working on preserving
buildings or projects in historic districts. I regularly worked with local and state preservation entities.
Since moving back to Bozeman, I would like to get involved with the local community and feel I could be a
valuable asset to the Historic Preservation Advisory Board.
