I thought through this machine that charges for copies, and even looked up online what this machine costs. It takes a lot of 10 cent copies to pay even for the machine, much less administration costs of procurement and maintenance--before the fees even pay for the first copy. My guestimate is years before that system pays for the first copy. I've been to another library which simply had a coffee cup to accept copy fees, and I think they may limit the number of copies per day unless overrided by a librarian, to keep people from mindlessly clicking hundreds of pages (which I have seen elsewhere). This alternative approach pays dividends in not creating an atmosphere of scarcity (which affects many other social and personal dimensions), and if nothing else, ease and convenience. Thanks for listening! -Jeffrey Vincent Haasch Attachments (optional) Thank you, City Of Bozeman This is an automated message generated by the Vision Content Management Systemâ„¢.
