HomeMy WebLinkAboutProclamation 82- National Medical Laboratory Week April 11-17 1982 PRO C LAM A T ION ------~~...........~~- INTERNATIONAL WEEK April 26-30, 1982 WHEREAS, the World's boundaries have shrunk with the increased technology of the 80's; and WHEREAS, the United States has become one of the major educators of international students; and WHEREAS, the involvement of the United States and Montana with other peoples of the world is growing in leaps and bounds; and WHEREAS, it behooves all Americans to become more aware of other cultures, their needs, accomplishments and offerings and vice versa. NOW, THEREFORE, I Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, Montana, do proclaim the period of April 26 through April 30, 1982, as INTERNATIONAL WEEK in Bozeman and urge all community members to take advantage of the enhanced global awareness opportunities provided during this week at Montana State University and within our City. IN HITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the great seal SEAL of the City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 12th day of April in the year of our lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighty-Two.
