JAYCEE WEEK
January 15-21, 1984

WHEREAS, the Bozeman Jaycees have been a vital part of the development of
young leaders for our community for the past 44 years; and
WHEREAS, this organization of young men has contributed to the betterment
of this community through its involvement in such programs as
Junior Achievement, Youth Soccer League, Muscular Dystrophy,
Christmas Shopping Spree for Needy Children and Special Olympics;
and
WHEREAS, the United States Jaycees and its affiliated state and local
organizations have set aside the third week in January to observe
the founding of the Jaycees sixty-four years ago;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kenneth L. Weaver, Mayor of the City of Bozeman do hereby
proclaim the week of January 15th through January 21st, 1984, as
JAYCEE WEEK
and urge all citizens of our community to give full regard to the past and
continuing services of the Bozeman Jaycees.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the great seal of the
Seal City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana,
to be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this
16th day of January, in the year of our
Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and
