NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN'S WEEK
October 21-27, 1984

WHEREAS, in the past forty years the number of working women in
America has tripled, exceeding 47 million; and
WHEREAS, women have entered all occupations and industries, and
have made invaluable contributions to the American
economy and worklife;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, KENNETH L. WEAVER, Mayor of the City of Bozeman,
in recognition of women's contributions to the economic, social and
political life of our community, do hereby proclaim the week of
October 21-27, 1984, as
NATIONAL BUSINESS WOMEN'S WEEK
and do urge our citizens to honor the working women of the City of
Bozeman and Gallatin Valley.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto
set my hand and caused the great seal
of the City of Bozeman, in the State
SEAL of Montana, to be affixed at Bozeman,
Montana, this 15th day of October, in
the year of Our Lord, One Thousand
