"JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DAY"
March 27, 1984
WHEREAS. the City of Bozeman recognizes that the future of our community
will be determined by the leadership achievements of our youth;
and
WHEREAS, the Junior Achievement organization of Bozeman plays a vital
role in the development of the community's future leadership;
and
WHEREAS. Lieutenant Colonel James F. Buchli, United States Marine Corps
and NASA astronaut. has graciously agreed to participate in
this year's Junior Achievement awards program, thereby strength-
ening the development of the leadership potential of these
outstanding junior achievers.
NOW. THEREFORE. I. KENNETH L. WEAVER. Mayor of the City of Bozeman. do
hereby declare that Tuesday, March 27, 1984, is hereby designated as
JUNIOR ACHIEVEMENT DAY
in Bozeman and that Lieutenant Colonel James F. Buchli is proclaimed an
honorary citizen of Bozeman with all rights and privileges thereto apper-
taining.
