CIRCLE K WEEK
February 6-12, 1984

WHEREAS, Circle K International, sponsored by Kiwanis International,
is a service organization for college students which provides
a means for students interested in helping others in society;
and
WHEREAS, Circle K International is providing service under the 1983-
1984 theme "Achieve Unity Through Service", focusing on the
importance of the family; and '
WHEREAS, Circle K International is dedicated to promoting the democratic
way of life as well as leadership training through service; and
WHEREAS, the adoption and application of high social, business and
professional standards are encouraged by Circle K International
as well as the preservation of justice, righteousness, patriotism
and goodwill; and
WHEREAS, Circle K members from the Montana State University are currently
involved in doing service projects at Montana State University
and the community of Bozeman;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kenneth L. Weaver, Mayor of the City of Bozeman do hereby
proclaim the week of February 6-12, 1984, as
CIRCLE K WEEK
in the City of Bozeman and commend its members for their humanitarian efforts.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto
