PROCLAMATION
UP WITH PEOPLE DAY
November 6, 1989

WHEREAS, Up With People is the international, educational and cultural
program which is working to encourge understanding among
people of all nations; and
WHEREAS, Up With People's impact stretches across six continents and
has reached over eighteen million people; and
WHEREAS, Up With People has had its international headquaters based in
Tucson for the past fifteen years; and
WHEREAS, Up With People will culminate their visit with one grand
performance at the Willson Auditorium on November 6, 1989 at
7:30 p.m.; and
WHEREAS, the First Security Bank, in cooperation with K BOZ Radio and
KTVM TV, is sponsoring Up With People's local activities as a
public service to Bozeman residents.
NOW THEREFORE, I, Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do
hereby proclaim November 6, 1989 as
UP WITH PEOPLE DAY
in this community and urge all of our citizens to support this worthwhile
program.

Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this
