BOZE.MAN TOURISM WEEK 1985

WHE REAS , the tourism industry is extremely important to the economy
of the Bozeman area, contributing to our employment,
economic prosperity, and international trade and under-
standing; and
WHE REAS , each of us benefits from the effects of tourism. It
substantially enhances our personal growth and education.
Tourism also promotes intercultural understanding and
appreciation of the geography, history and people of
Bozeman and Gallatin County. With the economy growing,
personal incomes and leisure will increase more rapidly.
Tourism therefore can be expected to play an even greater
role in the lives of the people in our area; and
\'VHEREAS, in recognition of the significance of the tourism industry
to~he enhancement of trade, understanding and goodwill to
the Bozeman area;
NOW,' THEREFORE, I, Kenneth L. Weaver, Mayor of the City of Bozeman,
do hereby proclaim the week of May 17th through May 25th, 1985, as
BOZEHAN TOURIS~1 WEEK 1985
ahd call upon the people of Bozeman to observe such week with appro-
priate ceremonies and activities.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the great seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana,
to he affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this
13th day of May, in the year of Our Lord,
