HomeMy WebLinkAboutProclamation 85- May 12-18 1985 PRO CLAM A T ION PRESERVATION WEEK May 12-18, 1985 ************************* WHEREAS, Main Street revitalization contributes to the economic and social well-being of our cities and towns by using historic preservation to stimulate and create new jobs and have new investment opportunities~ and WHEREAS, Main Streets all across America are being rediscovered as a place to work, shop and have fun~ and WHEREAS, THE ACTION'S BACK ON MAIN STREET is the theme for Preservation Week 1985, co-sponsored by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and the local preservation and neighborhood organizations in this City~ NOW, THEREFORE, I, Kenneth L. Weaver, Mavor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby proclaim the week of May 12-18, 1985, as PRESERVATION WEEK and call upon the people of Bozeman to recognize and participate in this special observance. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the great seal of the Seal City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 13th day of May, in the year of Our Lord, One Thousand Nine Hundred and Eighty-Five.
