America's libraries are free and open to all people; and WHEREAS. the quality, diversity and quantity of information provided by local libraries is dependent upon community support; and WHEREAS. the Bozeman Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with the theme "Take Time to Read...Use Your Library;" and WHEREAS. that theme encourages all people to enjoy and use the resources available to them in their libraries to help them succeed in all aspects of life. NOW. THEREFORE. I. Judith A. Mathre, Mayor of the City of Bozeman. do hereby proclaim the week of April 5 through 11. 1987. as "NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK" in the City of Bozeman and encourage all people to use their libraries to gain the knowledge they need.
