"THANK YOU" VETERAN'S DAY
August 8. 1987

WHEREAS. Montanans have always shouldered their full share of our coun-
try's commitments to fight for freedom. as can be seen in the
relatively high numbers of veterans of the World Wars, the
Korean War and the Vietnam War who came from our state; and
WHEREAS. our veterans are in every occupation and at all levels of respon-
sibility in business and government; and
WHEREAS. Montana and the City of Bozeman owe them appreciation, recogni-
tion and thanks.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Judith A. Mathre, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, Mon-
tana, do hereby proclaim Saturday, August 8, 1987, as
"THANK YOU" VETERAN'S DAY
and commend this event to all our citizens as an opportunity to show their
appreciation to the thousands of veterans among us.
