HomeMy WebLinkAboutProclamation 86- National Library Week April 6-12 1986 PRO C LAM A T ION NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK April 6-12, 1986 ************************* WHEREAS, Americans have enjoyed a tradition of success and achievement; and WHEREAS, the history of public leaders and other achievers documents the ways libraries have influenced their lives; and WHEREAS, libraries can help us all achieve that winning spirit; and WHEREAS, our Bozeman Public Library is celebrating National Library Week with the theme "Get a Head Start at The Library"; and WHEREAS, that theme encourages people to make the library a training ground for life, as a primary resource for education, informa- tion and recreation; THEREFORE, I, Judith A. Mathre, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby proclaim the week of April 6-12, 1986, as NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK in the City of Bozeman, Montana, and urge all citizens to get a head start at the library this week and throughout the year.
