PROCLAMATION
NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK
May 8-14, 1988

WHEREAS, the lifetime achievements of our community citizens now re-
siding in nursing homes have contributed immeasurably to
Bozeman's heritage over the decades; and
WHEREAS, our community nursing home residents have many personal
memories of events that have enriched life in Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, our City of Bozeman is actively engaged in celebrating lifetime
achievements; and
WHEREAS, members of the American Health Care Association and the
Montana Health Care Association are sponsoring many activi-
ties in observance of National Nursing Home Week beginning
on Mother's Day, May 8, 1988; and
WHEREAS. the theme of National Nursing Home Week for 1988 is "Re-
s pect : the Heart of Caring."
NOW, THEREFORE, I , Alfred M. Sti ff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman.
Montana, do hereby proclaim the week of May 8-14, 1988 as
"NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK"
and do urge all residents of this community to celebrate lifetime
achievements and participate in a demonstration of recognition, support,
encouragement and appreciation for the high standard of care that long
term care facilities are providing in our community.
