"ADOPT A GRANDPARENT FOR EASTER" WEEK
Aoril 5-11, 1987

WHEREAS, grand9arents and other citizens residing in nursing homes
have contributed immeasurably to Bozeman's heritage over
the decades; and
WHEREAS, grandparents and other nursing home residents have many
valuable memories of events that have enriched life in
Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, Gallatin Hospice wishes to honor and recognize the contri-
butions of these citizens by sponsoring an "Adopt a Grand-
parent for Easter" program and by giving each resident
currently residing in a Bozeman nursing home an African
Violet in recognition of their contributions to the
community;
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Judith A. Mathre, Mayor of the city of Bozeman, do
hereby proclaim the week of April 5-11, 1987, as
"ADOPT A GRANDPARENT FOR EASTER" WEEK
and do urge the residents of our community to honor our nursing home
residents.
