NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK
April 25 to May 1. 1987

WHEREAS. the work and dedication of our volunteers has contributed immeas-
urably to Gallatin County; and
WHEREAS. our community volunteers have many personal memories of events
that have enriched their lives and others in Gallatin County;
and
WHEREAS. our City of Bozeman is actively engaged in celebrating volunteer-
ism; and
WHEREAS. members of the Gallatin Association of Volunteer Administrators
are sponsoring activities in observance of National Volunteer
Week beginning on April 25. 1987; and
WHEREAS. the theme of Natiqnal Volunteer Week for 1987 is "Volunteers
Enrich Our Couanunity."
NOW. THEREFORE. I. Judith A. Mathre. Mayor of the City of Bozeman. do
hereby proclaim the week of April 25 through May 1. 1987. as
"NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK"
in the City of Bozeman and do urge all residents of this community to
celebrate and participate in recognition. support. encouragement and ap-
preciation for the dedication of volunteers in our community.
