NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK
May 10-16, 1987

WHEREAS, our community's citizens now residing in nursing homes have contributed
immeasurably to Gallatin County's heritage over the decades; and
WHEREAS, our community's nursing home residents are themselves living history; and
WHEREAS, members of the American Health Care Association and the Montana Health Care
Associations are sponsoring many activities in observance of National
Nursing Home Week beginning Mother's Day, May 10, 1987; and
WHEREAS, the theme of National Nursing Home Week for 1987 is "Discover Life's
Treasures";
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Judith A. Mathre, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, Montana, do hereby
proclaim the week of May 10-16, 1987, as
NATIONAL NURSING HOME WEEK
and do urge all members of this community to join in the Nursing Home Week observance
by visiting our town's nursing home residents and by recognizing the high quality of
care that our long term care facilities are providing.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the great seal of
the City of Bozeman, in the State of
Seal Montana, to be affixed at Bozeman,
Montana, this 4th day of May, in the
