PROCLAMATION
SAVE YOUR VISION WEEK
March 4-10,1990

WHEREAS, good vision and eye health contribute to the quality of life
for the citizens of Bozeman; and
WHEREAS, regular eye examinations and eye care can help our citizens
maintain their vision and eye health; and
WHEREAS, Save Your Vision Week is observed each year to heighten
public awareness of the importance of good vision.
NOW THEREFORE, I , Robert L. Hawks, Mayor of the City of Bozeman,
do hereby proclaim the week of March 4 through 10, 1990 as
IlSAVE YOUR VISION WEEK"
and urge the citizens of Bozeman to take steps to preserve their vision.
I further ask doctors of optometry, other h ea It h care professionals,
community leaders, schools and the news media to work together to
educate our citizens about the importance of eye care.
