PROCLAMATION
NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK
April 17 - 23, 1994

WHEREAS, we believe in libraries because libraries provide information and
information is power; and
WHEREAS, information empowers people to find better jobs, to be better
parents, to expand their businesses and to enrich their lives; and
WHEREAS, every day, libraries are changing the lives of people by providing
the informational, educational, and recreational materials and
services they need; and
NOW, THEREFORE, I, John Vincent, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby
proclaim April 17 - 23, 1994 as:
"NATIONAL LIBRARY WEEK"
in the City of Bozeman, and encourage the citizens of Bozeman to visit the Bozeman
Public Library!
