PROCLAMATION
RECOGNIZING THE BIG SKY CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP
BASKETBALL TEAM
"MONTANA STATE UNIVERSITY BOBCATS"
March 1996

WHEREAS, Mick Durham, a product of the Gallatin V.alley, is completing his sixth season
as Head Coach of the MSU Bobcats, developing a team that plays well
together; and
WHEREAS, the Montana State University Bobcats basketball team ended its regular 1995-
1996 season as winner of the Big Sky Conference with a 19 and 8 overall
record and an 11 and 3 conference record; and
WHEREAS, Montana State University hosted the Big Sky Conference Championship
Tournament on March 7 to 9, 1996; and
WHEREAS, Montana State University won the Big Sky Conference Championship
Tournament, ending the season with a 21 and 8 overall record; and
WHEREAS, the Montana State University Bobcats are representing the Big Sky Conference
in the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament at Albuquerque, New
Mexico.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Don E. Stueck, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, recognize the efforts
of the Montana State University Bobcats basketball team in reaching the Big Sky Conference
Championship tournament and the NCAA Men's Basketball Championship Tournament, and
further recognize the Montana State University Bobcats basketball team as the 1995-1996
Big Sky Conference Champions.
SEAL IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the Great Seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 18th
