PROCLAMATION
RECOGNITION OF THE BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA CLUB
FROM BOZEMAN HIGH SCHOOL

WHEREAS, the Business Professionals of America Club is open to any student taking a
business class; and
WHEREAS, the mission statement of the Business Professionals of America Club is "to
contribute to the preparation of a world class work force the advantages of
leadership, citizenship, marketing and technical skills; and
WHEREAS, the Business Professionals of America Club provides a cohesive link in the
worldwide network of education, business and industry; and
WHEREAS, the Business Professionals of America Club will set a standard of excellence for
vocational student organizations; and
WHEREAS, members of the Business Professionals of America Club participate in
competitions, including state competitions, from which they may advance to
national competition, where they have the opportunity to meet and work with
students from across the country; and
WHEREAS, over thirty schools, with approximately six hundred students, competed this
spring in the State Leadership Conference in Billings; and
WHEREAS, Bozeman High School students who attended the Business Professionals of
America Club's National Conference in Orlando include: Shayla Simmons,
Wytni Spranget, Jared Montgomery, Chad Gibson and Kim Lougee.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Don E. Stueck, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby proclaim and
bestow
"SPECIAL RECOGNITION TO THE BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS OF AMERICA CLUB
FROM BOZEMAN HIGH SCHOOL"
in the City of Bozeman, and encourage the citizens of Bozeman to recognize the efforts of
these Bozeman High School students in the Business Professionals of America Club.
SEAL IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the Great Seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 5th day
