PROCLAMATION
BOZEMAN HIGH SCHOOL SPEECH AND DEBATE TEAM
* * * * * * * * * *
WHEREAS, the Bozeman High School Speech and Debate Team consists of over eighty
members, all of whom regularly work together to create a strong team; and
WHEREAS, The Speech and Debate Team took part in the State" AA" Championships in
Helena on January 30 and 31, and took second place, with Zach Pincus, Kai
Huseboe, Sean Micken, Brittany Olson and Samantha Dabney winning the State
Championships; and
WHEREAS, The Bozeman High School Speech and Debate Team won the National
Sweepstakes Award at the National Forensic League Tournament in Kalispell
on February 13 and 14; and
WHEREAS, The names of the National qualifiers are Zach Pincus, Emerson Lenon, Sean
Micken, Kelsey Walker, Brittany Olson, Noah Robinson-Cox and Marcia Herzog;
and
WHEREAS, These members of the team will attend the National Forensic League
Championships in St. Louis on June 14-19.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby recognize
the students noted above for their achievements on the Bozeman High School Speech and
Debate Team, and encourage the citizens of Bozeman to be supportive of the achievements
of these students and their team leaders.
SEAL IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the Great Seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 6th day
