PROCLAMATION
RECOGNITION OF THE BOZEMAN HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL TEAM

WHEREAS, After finishing fourth in the Eastern "AA" Basketball Conference and having
won the play-off game against Great Falls CMR High School; and
WHEREAS, Having entered the State Tournament in Billings on February 26, 27 and 28,
1998 as the No.4 seed from the Eastern "AA" Conference, the Bozeman High
School Boys' Basketball Team finished it by winning the 1998 "AA" Boys'
Basketball Championship; and
WHEREAS, It is the Bozeman High School Athletics Department's belief that being a
member of an athletic team teaches the value of hard work, the importance of
being a member of a team, and builds character; and
WHEREAS, The members of the Bozeman High School Boys' Basketball team are also all
fine students academically, as well as athletes.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby recognize
the Bozeman High School Boys' Basketball team, and encourage the citizens of Bozeman to
be supportive of the City's athletes and their coaches.
SEAL IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set
my hand and caused the Great Seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 6th day
of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand
