PROCLAMATION
Recognition of Bozema High School
Girls' Swim Team

WHEREAS, The Bozeman High School Girls' Swim Team began their season last November
with the objective of winning the 1998 State "AA" Girls' Swimming
Championship; and
WHEREAS, The Swim Team has trained hard since then, combining regular workouts of
swimming and weight lifting; and
WHEREAS, The Swim Team members believe in themselves as a team, knowing that
developing a solid team spirit and good work ethic will stand them in good
stead at any point in their lives; and
WHEREAS, The Swim Team members are good students, in academics as well as in sports;
and
WHEREAS, This year the Swim Team members have set a new High School State record
in the 200 Freestyle Relay race; and
WHEREAS, The Bozeman High School Girls' Swim Team achieved their objective and won
the 1998 State "AA" Girls' Swimming Championship, held in Missoula on
February 6-7, 1998.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, Alfred M. Stiff, Mayor of the City of Bozeman, do hereby recognize
the Bozeman High School Girls' Swim Team, and applaud their achievements as a team, and
encourage the citizens of Bozeman to likewise honor these young people.

my hand and caused the Great Seal of the
City of Bozeman, in the State of Montana, to
be affixed at Bozeman, Montana, this 6th day
of April in the year of our Lord One Thousand
