Box 1407 Bozeman, Montana 59715 Subject: L-8088l-Mont.-Bozeman City of Bozeman Dear Ms. Harding: Reference your letter of November 29, 1976 concerning a proposed new lease to replace the Milwaukee Railroad Lease No. 37278 which covered certain Railroad land used by the City of Bozeman for park purposes. I now enclose the City of Bozeman's fully executed copy of Lease 80881 which will replace Lease 37278 effective January 1, 1977. This new lease covers a total area of approximately 3.6 acres of land. I also return to you the claim form which you sent to me, and this form should be in the amount of $120 to cover the first year's rental on the new lease. The land included in this lease is not presently assessed and, therefore, the Railroad does not pay a tax on it. No tax is due from the City. The City's check for $120 should be sent to this office.
