Subject: Thoughts on Bozeman
Hi Terry, trust you are well and enjoying spring. I'm writing to express my opinion, which I'm sure you've
heard from many others as well. I have talked to many people about what is happening to downtown and
we all agree that it is being changed for the worse. We all are deeply saddened, and disappointed over
the large hotels that are changing downtown from a great western city to a developers pot of money. It is
felt that the City Commission does nothing to protect the downtown, but allows the developers to do
whatever they want to make the most money. If downtown is to remain unique, this must be stopped.
Instead of allowing these large buildings, which downtown doesn't need, you should be encouraging US
Bank to remove their very ugly facade. That would benefit downtown. And the rest of Bozeman could use
some creative apartment buildings instead of the white boxes that would look better in Chicago. My
thoughts, hope it helps to change the direction of Bozeman, Brad O'Grosky
