Amendment No. 1 to Professional Services Agreement
Wastewater Treatment Plant
Blower and Digester Project
THIS AGREEMENT made as of this 7th day of February , 2000 between THE
CITY OF BOZEMAN, a Municipal Corporation, Bozeman, Montana, herein referred to as
OWNER and THOMAS, DEAN & HOSKINS, INC., III North Tracy Avenue, Bozeman,
Montana, herein refcrred to as ENGINEER.
WHEREAS, the parties have entered into a Professional Services Agreement dated,
, herein referred to as the Original Agreement, for
professional engineering services for preparing a blower cost analysis and cost estimates and a
report on the primary and secondary digester rehabilitation project; and,
WHEREAS the parties desire to amend the provisions of this Agreement in accordance
Article 5 - Additional Services.
NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION OF THE MUTUAL COVENANTS
CONTAINED HEREIN, the parties agree as follows:
1. Pursuant to Article 5.1.6 of the Agreement, the following services are added as additional
services to the Agreement:
Design and prepare plans and specifications for the replacement of the support system for
the screw pump cover as identified on the attached letter from Thomas, Dean & Hoskins,
Inc., dated December 16,1999.
2. Section 6.1.1 ofthe Agreement shall be replaced as follows:,
The OWNER shall pay for Pre-Design Investigation Phase Services, Project
Documcntation Services and services identified in Amendment No. I an amount not to
exceed $10,885.00 except as provided under 6.1.1.2 and 6.1.4.

remain in full force and effect and thc parties shall be bound by all terms and conditions
therein.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto do make and execute this Agreement on the
day and year first above written.
