COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 3903
. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN,
MONTANA, HONORING ROBIN L. SULLIVAN FOR HER SERVICE TO THE CITY
OF BOZEMAN FOR THE PAST 32 YEARS.
WHEREAS, an era ended on Monday, March 27, 2006, when Robin Sullivan attended to her
last City Commission meeting as Bozeman City Clerk. Robin has, for 32 years, served the Bozeman
community and the Bozeman City Commission and staff with great dedication and distinction. A positive
and invaluable fixture at our meetings for twenty-five years, it is appropriate to mark Robin's retirement
by reflecting on her place in the development and improvement of the City of Bozeman.
WHEREAS, the Commission wishes to give its lasting recognition and express its great and
sincere appreciation for the many years of exemplary service and devotion by Robin to the City of
Bozeman.
WHEREAS, all facets of City government have benefitted from the extraordinary assistance
provided by Robin Sullivan. Robin provided tireless assistance with unfailing good spirit and good humor.
In addition, across the State of Montana all involved in local government during her tenure have gained
. from Robin's commitment to her job and to her profession. Robin has been determined and dedicated
to both the City of Bozeman and to her participation in and leadership of the Montana Municipal Clerks
Association. Moreover, Robin understands better than anyone how the Clerk's Office functions as an
institution and she has devoted herself to effecting positive outcomes, and change when necessary, for
the benefit of her chosen field.
WHEREAS, the high professional standard of conduct that Robin has portrayed to the City of
Bozeman has served as a model for all those involved in city government. Robin was willing to commit
her time and effort undertaking matters that individually promised little more than hard work and long
odds, out of recognition that over-arching goals are often reached only through teamwork and sacrifice.
WHEREAS, Robin Sullivan is a rarity. She will be missed by all civic employees and all citizens
of the community.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of Bozeman,
Montana, that Robin L. Sullivan officially be recognized and honored on behalf of the residents of the
. community for her outstanding work for 32 years of public service of the highest order.

. regular session thereof held on the 3rd day of April 2006.
