Is there a Standard that allows the review boards to deem a residences in a historical district as non historical, not adding value to district where as the new construction will add more value to district. I'm thinking of a property on 208 Lindley Pl, where the owner had to keep the front of the building for historical preservation requirements, which I don't think adds historical value. Where as the new construction built behind adds more value. Keeping with the culture of Bozeman, MSU architecture program that invites new historical buildings to be built that add value to historical districts.
