Montana. a municipal corporation. hereinafter referred to as the "City." and Bozeman School District No.7 of Montana. hereinafter referred to as the "District." for the purpose of providing use of the Bozeman Swim Center during the 1995/96 school year. and the setting of the fee to be paid by the District to the City. :2g~<;:rti.QD-J In accordance with the Swim Center Interlocal Agreement between the City and the District. the City shall provide to the Dis'trict the Swim Center facilities for instructional purposes during the 1995/96 school year. The City will provide the Dis.trict with shared use of the Swim Center for the High School Swim Team. Tuesday through Thursday from 6;00 to 7;30 a.m. . Monday through Friday from 3:~5 to 5;30 p.m.. and Sa.turdav from 7:00 to 9;00 a.m. The City will provide the District use of the pool for classes from 8:30 a.m. to 12;15 p.m. and 1:00-3:30 p.m. The program will include swim lessons for grades 6-12. The City will provide the District use of the pool for high school make up. Additional School District classes/programs may use the pool during the District's scheduled pool time by scheduling through the pool manager. Any additions will be approved by the Assistant Superintendent of Schools. Additions will be billed at the same rate as the remainder of the contract. The City will provide one American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor for each middle school and high school class scheduled. The City will provide one American Red Cross Lifeguard to guard the pool. ~.~S::t iglL_l When a School District teacher is ill. the Dis.trict shall try to secure a certified Water Safety InstIuctor as a substitute teacher. ;3e.Q.t iQIL_t.t During School Year 1995/96. the District shall pay to the City the sum of $ ""3.180.75. payable in ten equal monthly payments of $ "",318.08 each month beginning September 1. 1995 and ending June 1. 1996. ge C:tiQIL.Q_ During this Agreement. the City will offer Swim Center Passes for School District trustees and staff members at an individual fee of $10. or a family pass fee of $~5. The passes are good from September 1 until August 31. except when the pool is closed for maintenance and repairs. The City will provide the District with a list of School District Swim Center Paz,s holders and a statement for the amount the District owes by June 1. 1996. The payment will be due June 30. 1996. The amount shall not exceed $"".000.00. ..--.,. -104- . . . , ~,S1QJ;-<JgrL_g In reference to the attached Swim Center Parking Lot Plan. Lot A and B will be designated "Swim Center Patron Parking". Lot C will be available for District use at all times. It is understood that construction of Lots Band C will occur in conjunction with the proposed expansion of the Swim Center. Construction is expected to begin in June 1996. The District shall provide plowing of the designated Swim Center parking area in accordance with the School District's plowing schedule. ;>egt,i2.ll.._.? The proposed expansion of the Swim Center includes the addi t,ion of a meeting room. It is agreed and understood that. the District will be allowed use of the meeting room dUTing the day free of charge. The District may schedule use of the meeting room through the Bozeman Recreation Department. :2.e ct i Qil_.!? The City and the District shall not discriminate on the basis of Tace, color, creed, religion. sex, age, marital status. native origin, or disability, in employment or the provision of service.
