Re: J & D Family GPMA Request
HD# 118.01
Dear Chris:
Please accept this letter, and the supplementary information enclosed, as a request to amend the City of
Bozeman Growth Policy Map. This request is being made on behalf of the current property owner, J & D
Family Limited Partnership. The objective of this request is to amend the underlying Community Plan Future
Land Use designation on a portion of the subject property as indicated on Exhibit C. It is the property owners
understanding that the City of Bozeman is currently in the process of updating the Growth Policy and the
Growth Policy Map and it is their hope that this request to amend the Future Land Use designation can be
incorporated into the comprehensive changes that are part of the update.
As you will note on the materials provided with this request, a realignment of the current subdivision
boundaries will be necessary to complete the change requested here. An exhibit illustrating the proposed
lot configuration of that amendment is provided as Exhibit B. The exemption type requested with that
application would be that which is provided in 76-3-207(d)MCA for the relocation of the common boundaries
of lots within a platted subdivision. The properties that will be the subject of that request include Lots 1 and
2 of Block 2 and Common Open Space A of J & D Family Subdivision Phase 1 and Lot R-2 of J & D Family
Subdivision Phase 2.
Enclosed, please find copies of the above referenced Exhibits along with a Future Land Use Exhibit
illustrating the cZvyq
nt land use designations in the surrounding area. Please feel free to contact me at
570.3830 wit. uestions.
