White - SID 747-Manley RoadFrom:White, Thomas To:Agenda Subject:Manley Road Special Improvement Disrupt Date:Monday, February 11, 2019 5:16:53 PM Dear Commissioners— Through the White Trust, LLC, I am the manager/owner of Lots 2, 3 and 4 in Gallatin Parksubdivision which we understand are subject to the special improvement district assessment under consideration by the City of Bozeman. I am currently out of town and unable to attendthe meeting to place my own objection tonight to the Special Improvement District proposed. Please except this email letter as my objection and protest to such an assessment being placed against Lots 2, 3 and 4 of Gallatin Park subdivision primarily for the reason that: 1. This proposed assessment is disproportionate to the use and value of these Lots up againstother neighboring properties. Many of the Lots/properties more near the intersection of Manley Road and Griffin Drive are substantially more commercial and hold much largervolume of occupancy and traffic. In particular, it is obvious that the commercial development of the MAP Brewery is the single largest and most significant reasoning for this assessment.Furthermore, many of the commercial lots that remain undeveloped more near the intersection will soon place the significant burden on the traffic through the intersection. Consequently, theproperties near the intersection have or will impact the roadway and pedestrian usage significantly more than Lots 2, 3 and 4 in Manley Subdivision; and, 2. Lots 2 and 3 in Manley Subdivision are currently unbuildable due to the wetlands encroachment from the north and west and have limited to little impact on traffic in the area.
