Professionally, I am a civil engineering working for the Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) in Road Design which falls under the Highways and Engineering division. I have worked for the Department for over four years and have taken a particular interest in discovering ways that we can improve multimodal transportation. Although my position does not allow for higher level policy and decision-making, I have had the opportunity to work on several Transportation Alternative (TA) funded projects such as multi-use paths and ADA upgrades for pedestrian facilities. My personal qualification consist of being an avid, year-round bike commuter in Bozeman. I have witnessed first-hand many of the strengths and weaknesses the city's infrastructure has and would love to be a part of making the system overall more user-friendly and functional. Recommended to me by aquaintances in the Bozeman cycling community. Is there any other information that you feel we need to know? If I am selected for BABAB, I will notify MDT's chief auditor of my role to mitigate the risk of issues in the future. I appreciate your consideration of me for this opportunity.
