RECOMMENDED MOTION: I move to appoint one member to the Impact Fee Advisory
Committee with a term ending December 31, 2020 to the Other Member as Selected by the City
Commission position.
BACKGROUND: The Impact Fee Advisory Committee (IFAC) currently has four vacant
positions:
1. Citizen of Bozeman not Employed in the Development Industry, with a term ending
December 31, 2019
2. Citizen of Bozeman not Employed in the Development Industry, with a term ending
December 31, 2020
3. Builder, with a term ending December 31, 2020
4. Other Member as Selected by the City Commission, with a term ending December 31, 2020
One new application has been received for the Other Member as Selected by the City
Commission position, with a term ending December 31, 2020.
The Impact Fee Advisory Committee, established under 7-6-1604, MCA, shall consist of nine
members to be appointed by the City Commission. The members shall be:

A certified public accountant who shall hold no other public office or employment;

1 builder;
1 land developer;
2 citizens of Bozeman not employed in the development industry; and
2 other members as selected by the City Commission.
A majority of members must be residents of the City of Bozeman. Appointments are made for
two years. The Committee will act in an advisory capacity to the City Commission.
This board currently has four vacancies. The City Clerk’s Office has received one new
application, with their relevant qualifications indicated below.

I am a civil engineer, and work primarily on development projects in Bozeman. Through my work I have
become knowledgeable in the Impact Fee studies and methodologies. I regularly watch commission
meetings and am an involved citizen of Bozeman.
