I spoke with NorthWesternEnergy yesterday about, costs associated with a possible development. From my
conversation it was completely evidant that the cost formula for new construction could work well for COB
figuring out impact fee, water, etc.
Also from what I have gathered the city of Bozeman spends a tremendous amount of money on consults
from out of town, how much has that availed us? I.E The city bus system from a consultant I think from
Denver. all I know is when I drive by those buses they are empty. I think utilization of uber and lyft services
would be a better use of resources also hire local folks. Consultant could be hire for what bus routes are
utilized, keep those and sell the rest buses creating a fund for lyft and uber services. Those individuals using
the service would have to prove income in application process.
For a database for water and water use, the property tax records from the State Of Montana, is extreme
accurate, breaking down county, city, neighborhood, housing type, number of bedrooms and baths. from
there the meter reads.
