Dear city council,
I had sent an email to you folks at the city commission back in September. I also placed a call
to someone at city hall and have not heard back from anyone. I wanted to thank the
commission and those that have sponsored bills to keep our minimum wage at 12 dollars. in
my opinion it is needed with such high rents here. rents are about 300 to 400 dollars a month
higher than Bozeman mt and boise Idaho for smaller apts rents. and Bozeman home prices are
a little higher than flagstaff. I was a small business owner there and I am still a homeowner. I
hope some day that flagstaff can follow bozemans model and offer affordable rents. we have
a terrible problem with panhandlers(beggers) here on many street corners. it is an eyesore for a
community that offers a lot.
Lastly, what is being done to eliminate(reduce) the purina smell? thanks for your service.
