Consider including Frontage Road North boundary for Belgrade-Bozeman bike plan. Consider irrigation infrastructure not only for agriculture but recharging the aquifer. 2 Triangle Community Plan DRAFT Approach: The PCC discussed the best approach for the Triangle Community Plan, based on land use or geographic sub-areas or combination? The PCC explored the idea of establishing guiding policies for FUTURE land use changes. This would allow the existing zoning districts to continue to guide existing uses but as proposals for properties come forward the Triangle Community Plan would guide development standards. This would result in a tiered approach for the Triangle, No change = falls under existing zoning districts / plans Minor changes (threshold to be determined) = ensure that some policies apply Major changes (threshold to be determined) = additional policies apply The PCC also discussed identifying key resources or conditions that would receive additional protection in the plan. These may include natural resources, water resources, irrigation infrastructure etc. TRAPLLINE: Gallatin County – the RFP for the Growth Policy is about to be released. Belgrade – pipes are in the ground at the Yellowstone Plaza. Bozeman – Welcome Melissa Pope to Bozeman Planning Department.
