I sent a comment to the Downtown Planning document but wanted you to know my concern about
unoccupied housing in the Bozeman south side.
The Greenhouse Condos on S Tracy are great neighbors because they are mostly unoccupied.
Several were bought for investments ( $650K and up) and nobody has ever moved in to 2 of them but this
winter only 8 out of the 10 condo houses are lived in because the owners are snowbirds.
I do not know the answer as the City certainly cannot require people to live in their house (!) but this is part
of the housing shortage in Bozeman.
