CONTRACT AMENDMENT
Contract No. 4M229.110 between the CITY OF BOZEMAN, a Municipal
Corporation, and HKM ASSOCIATES, 20 East Olive, P.O. Box 1090,
Bozeman, Montana, effective date April 25, 1991, is hereby amended
as follows:
12.3 TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT: The OWNER shall pay the ENGINEER the
total contract amount, not to exceed Twenty-two thousand seven
hundred forty-three and no/l00 dollars ($22743.000) which shall
include Thirteen thousand six hundred and no/100 ($13,600) for the
engineering services rendered in field investigations, preparation
of plans and specifications, and Nine thousand one hundred forty-
three and nO/lOa dollars ($9143.00) for construction contract
administration and construction inspection, as outlined in Section
4 of this Agreement, EXCLUSIVE of additional services set forth in
section 5 of this Agreement, for the design and construction for
the RELOCATION OF THE SANITARY SEWER OUTFALL LINE GENERALLY LOCATED
PARALLEL TO U.S. HIGHWAY NO. 10 ALONG THE NORTHWEST APPROACH RAMP
TO THE EXISTING NORTH SEVENTH AVENUE HIGHWAY OVERPASS OF THE
MONTANA RAIL LINK TRACKS. The man-hour and cost breakout is shown
in Exhibit B. The method of payment is described in the following
paragraphs.

CONTRACT AMENDMENT

Corporation, and HKM ASSOCIATES, 20 East Olive, P.O. Box 1090,
Bozeman, Montana, effective date April 25, 1991, is hereby amended
as follows:
Sec. 12 . 1. 4 .....Reimbursable Expenses shall also include the
amount billed to ENGINEER (other than as an authorized
Additional Service under Paragraph 12.1.2 above) at cost times
a factor of 1. 00; and shall also include expenses incurred
for computer time and other highly specialized equipment.
Note: Mark-up factor is changed from 1.10 to 1.00.
Sec. 20 LATE PAYMENT is deleted in its entirety.
