SUBJECT: Formal Cancellation of the December 24, 2018 City Commission Meeting
MEETING DATE: December 17, 2018
AGENDA ITEM TYPE: Consent
RECOMMENDATION: Approve cancelling the regularly scheduled City Commission
meeting on December 24, 2018.
BACKGROUND: The City Commission has decided not to meet on December 24,
2018 in observance of the holidays. City offices will be closed in
observance of Christmas Day on Tuesday, December 25, 2018. This
item formalizes the meeting cancellation. At this point the City
Commission has not elected to hold a meeting on December’s fifth Monday, falling on December 31, 2018. The next meeting is
currently scheduled for January 7, 2019.
UNRESOLVED ISSUES: None.
ALTERNATIVES: As determined by the City Commission.
FISCAL EFFECTS: None.
