Before the move, we lived 20 years in Richland, Washington. While in Richland, there was at least one Winco store in the area. We thought it was a wonderful store. They have a large bulk foods area. You could buy only what you need in stables… cooking ingredients etc. This is an affordable way for those on a budget to buy exactly what they need. Other areas in Winco are competitive with other stores like Smiths. We are really excited that Winco is coming to Bozeman. This also means we don't have to shop at the WinCo in Richland when I visit my dad there. There is a group appealing approval of WinCo here. I disagree with their positions. I don’t believe that the store will lower wages since there is a tight job market in Bozeman. Town and Country will always be on my list of places. TNC has placed their stores where stores are needed. The WinCo site is perfect with other box stores. Since we moved here, the small-town feel has already left especially with high building downtown and next to historical areas. The areawhere Winco will be never had the small-town feel. A perfect place for Winco. Since we moved here, we seen the increase traffic on 19th. I don’t think having a WinCo in the area will increase the traffic that much. People drive to the other store in the area. If you are already shopping in the area, WinCo would be convenient and possible people will spend less time on the road. Please keep going forward with Winco. Thank you, City Of Bozeman This is an automated message generated by the Vision Content Management System™. Please do not reply directly to this email.
