FYI, here was my reply: Lisa: Thank you for taking the time to reach out with this news. I’m glad to hear that things worked out for the best. As someone who has had a dog “go missing” for a couple of hours, I know the concern, panic and stress that is involved in the situation. I’m also glad to hear that our Animal Control Officer was helpful in this matter. Having confidence that someone is assisting in a tangible manner in the search for your dog helps tremendously. The Animal Control officers who work for Bozeman Police Department have genuine concern for the well-being of our pets. I will be sure to pass along your kind words to my fellow commissioners and to the staff. Thanks again. I’m glad you can breathe a big sigh of relief. I’m writing to sing the praises of Selina (sp?), the animal control officer whose diligence and excellent communication was sovaluable yesterday when a dog In my care went missing. She searched for the dog, called me with reported sightings and acurately predicted a possible outcome. She returned my call thismorning when I reported that the dog returned to our house and she was genuinely relieved, as I was. It’s a comfort to know that Bozeman employs such a compassionate, experienced andhard working animal control officer. Sincerely, Lisa Easton 514 N Tracy AveBozeman
