HomeMy WebLinkAbout18- RFQ - Architectural Services for the Bozeman City Commission Room Remodel - SUPPLEMENTAL MATERIALSThe City of Bozeman hired a local engineering and architectural firm to assist with the schematic design
for the upgrade of the City Hall Commission Room. The scope of this process was to address the
following:
• Review third party security assessment recommendations
o Determine feasibility of recommendations
o If not feasible, create new options that meet the City’s needs
• Review current mechanical, electrical, and data systems for possible impact of any upgrades
• Revise entry in commission chambers for better visibility and circulation
• Design a schematic drawing that has taken above items into account, drawing will be used in the
RFQ process and bid drawing process.
• Creation of cost estimates for Architectural Design, MEP Design, CA/Bid Management, and
contingency
The City’s construction budget for this project was based on these cost estimates.
• Base Bid & Soft Cost, Alternate Bid #1 & Soft Cost, Alternate Bid #2 & Soft Cost, and contingency
$140,000
• Addition budget dollars are allocated in the total project budget for furnishing that are not part
of this scope.
