Subject: Blackmore Apartments
To whom it may concern/ Tom Rogers,
Let this letter serve as a written complaint regarding the current
status of: the ownership of the Blackmore apartments, their
treatment of current residents, and their plans for the future.
Much to my disappointment, I have been made aware that the
ownership of the Blackmore apartments are involved in the
development of a new 4 story, 16 unit building, to be constructed
right behind the current apartment building.
This is concerning for many reasons. Here are a few: The extreme
inconvenience and noise of a second commercial construction
project. Already, the residents are suffering from poor
construction conditions taking place across the street. Loud work,
early in the morning and blocked off streets are becoming a
reality more and everyday. Additionally, current contracts reflect
terms for which an added fee to residents has reserved them a
parking spot or garage. With 270 degrees of construction
surrounding the residence, the apartments will be both miserable
to live in, and impossible to park at.
I am very disappointed with this situation, and even more upset
by the way in which it’s being handled. There has been no
communication whatsoever, regarding these future events— had I
known I would have not chosen to live here. As a resident of the
building this is information that would be reasonable to know
before entering into a contractual lease agreement. The fact that
this has been kept discrete is exceptionally disappointing.
Simply put, I am deeply bothered by this situation, and feel that
the owners are not looking out for the residents best interest.
I never thought I would be the upset person writing the nagging
letter to my local government. I hope you can appreciate that It
does not make me happy to write this— I have other things I
would rather be doing; Im not the person that enjoys wallowing
in my dissatisfaction. I did however feel this was worth speaking
up about.
I hope this letter finds an ear.
Thank you for your time.
