individuals to comment on matters falling within the purview of the Committee. There will also be an
opportunity in conjunction with each action item for comments pertaining to that item. Please limit
your comments to three minutes.

Board members should disclose information or discussions they have had regarding a board related

1. 2018 Bozeman Beautification Awards Nominations review and recipient decisions
There were 21 nominations this year. After discussion and voting by the BBAB group, 12 award winners
were selected.
Award winners are listed along with Board Member assignments:
1. Little Star Diner – Mary
2. Bozeman Creek Enhancement – Amanda
3. Lindley Park Mural – Terry
4. 410 North Church Street – Charlotte 5. 621 North Bozeman – Elise
6. RSVP Motel – Mary
7. 206 Peach – Judy
8. 216 South 9th – Terry
9. The Rialto – Ellie 10. The Cannery – Amanda
11. 701 North Montana – Ellie
12. Equestrian – Charlotte
2. 2018 Beautification Awards Event - work plan assignments and timeline update
Each Board Member is responsible for the following:
1. Email me the category you have chosen for the winning project(s) you have been
assigned
2. Make connection with the people associated with the project. Each one may be different
– property owner in some cases, architect in others… Set up a time to talk with them. 3. Information needed for each project:
a. Ask for pictures (professional if possible) of the property. Before and After
pictures are wonderful!
b. Make a list of people that should be INVITED to the ceremony and get their
address for the invitation c. Make a list of people that should receive an AWARD at the ceremony – with the
correct spelling of their name, company (if appropriate), and credentials
d. Ask for the “story” behind the project. These details can be used during the
award ceremony to describe and recognize the project when they receive their
award. e. Make sure they know when the award ceremony is and where.
4. Photos and information gathered should be emailed to me no later than October
17th. Amanda will create the draft presentation with our information, and show it at our
October 24th meeting. We also need that information to send out invitations and create
the awards and program.
Dates:
October 24th at 4:30 to 6:00 – regular BBAB meeting. We will watch the draft presentation from
Amanda. We’ll go over last details and so on.
November 7th, Awards event. Baxter Hotel.
5:00 Tanya and Terry – mike check and room check
6:00 BBAB arrives for set up and check in 6:30 doors open (Elise – we hope you will be our greeter outside the door on the balcony…it’s a special job that the group wanted you to have because you are caring
and cheerful). Bar is open, food is ready
7:00 Program begins (I think we should allow for more social time than 30
minutes. I hope we can be flexible on this.
