A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF BOZEMAN
LEVYING A SPECIAL ASSESSMENT UPON ALL PROPERTY SITUATED WITHIN
EXISTING SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO.739 TO DEFRAY THE COST OF
MAKING THE IMPROVEMENTS IN SAID SPECIAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
PURSUANT TO RESOLUTION NUMBER 4762 CREATING THE DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Bozeman, Montana did create the
Special Improvement District 739 (the "District") and thereby ordered and directed to be made
within the District improvements as specified in Resolution No. 4761 (the"Improvements"); and
WHEREAS,the costs of making the Improvements to be assessed against the properties
within the District (the "District's Share of the Improvements") is $140,950 and such costs are to
be paid over a period of 20 years by the properties located within the District; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Resolution creating the District, the properties
located in the District will be assessed annually to defray the District's Share of the Improvements;
each lot,tract,piece, or parcel of land to be assessed for its proportionate share of the whole of the
District's Share of the Improvements based on the formula as set forth in the Resolution creating
that District; and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk published notice of resolution for levy and assessment in
the Bozeman Daily Chronicle on September 23, 2018 and September 30, 2018 and sent mail
notices to the owners of each lot, tract, or parcel of land to be assessed in accordance with 7-12-
4177, MCA; and

WHEREAS,the City Commission conducted a public hearing on the resolution for levy
and assessment October 15, 2018 in accordance with 7-12-4178, MCA.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana that to defray the costs and expense of making said improvements in the
District, the City of Bozeman hereby levies and assesses a tax upon all property situated within
the District for each year for the duration of the District in the respective estimated annual amounts
listed on Exhibit A attached.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED,that the assessments for the Districts which are listed
in the City Treasurer's assessment book are due and payable to the City Treasurer of the City of
Bozeman and will become delinquent at 5 p.m. on November 30t" and May 3 1"of each year until
they are paid in full.
PASSED, ADOPTED, AND APPROVED by the City Commission of the City of
Bozeman, Montana, at a regular session thereof held on the 15th day of October, 2018.

Dear Property Owner,
The City of Bozeman is sending you the below notice because your property is included in an
existing Special Improvement District (SID). Special assessments for the SID listed below will be
levied to pay for the cost of the improvements made in the SID. This notice is not a bill —the
City bills property owners within an SID annually for the term of the SID (typically 20 years), in
two halves payable on November 30th and May 31't of each year.

AND SOUTH CHURCH AVENUE,AND SOUTH CHURCH AVENUE BETWEEN EAST OLIVE STREET
AND EAST BABCOCK STREET
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on Monday, October 15, 2018 at 6:00 p.m., in the Commission
Room of City Hall, 121 North Rouse Ave., Bozeman, Montana the City Commission will
conduct a public hearing on adoption of Resolution No. 4960 levying a special assessment
upon property benefited by Special Improvement District (SID) 739 pursuant to Section 7-12-
4178, M.C.A. at which time objections to the adoption of Resolution No. 4960 will be heard.
A complete copy of Resolution No. 4960, including a list of properties in the above SID and each
property owner's estimated annual assessment amount is on file with the Bozeman City Clerk at
121 North Rouse Avenue, or by contacting the City Clerk at (406) 582-2321 or
rcrough@bozeman.net. A complete copy of the Resolution creating the above SID is also on file
at the City Clerk's Office and available online.
